About the event
When it comes to cultural conservation, many people may immediately think of the historic sites in the urban area, such as the distribution reservoir in Wozai Mountain; or some old-fashioned skills, such as the production of neon lights. Sometimes when the society discusses Hong Kong's fruit situation, it will use the perspective of the urban area, while ignoring the rural areas that occupy three-quarters of the land. It turns out that the countryside in Hong Kong is not just a "halfway station on the hiking route", not just "the background of the story of the edge of the road", but also carries many historical origins and cultural nutrients of Hong Kong, and it is the home of these villagers. Rural conservation is about the revival of rural life and the reconstruction of cultural landscapes, but it is also an extremely difficult task. Meizilin is an unknown village in the northeast of the New Territories. How many difficulties will you encounter in rural conservation here? Will the government's conservation policies bring more support to rural conservation work, or will there be more difficulties?
